Events and Weddings
In the event that plans are completed but no services are contracted or purchases or deposits have been made 30% of the final approved fee will be retained by EIA.
All requests for cancellations must be made in writing to EIA and shall only be effective on the date of actual receipt to EIA.
- If EIA services are discontinued because the occasion is cancelled Events-in-Africa will refund the to the client funds in excess of our and our suppliers expenses, providing that this is prior to 30 days before the event date. EIA decision in this regard is final.
- If the event is cancelled 30 days or less there will be no refund.
- If the function is not cancelled there will be no refund.
Any services required in excess of those detailed on the final confirmation will be charged at a pre-determined fee. Such fees should be paid prior to those services taking effect.
Accommodation Bookings
Cancellation of confirmed bookings may only take place according to the procedure outlined in this clause below. All requests for cancellations must be made in writing to EIA and shall only be effective on the date of actual receipt to EIA. Cancellation fees shall be applicable and shall be calculated by reference to the total booking cost of the services booked for by the client.
Cancellation Policy
- 60 days or more notice 75% of the total booking cost will be refunded to the client.
- 45 – 60 days notice 50% of the total booking cost will be refunded to the client.
- 35 – 45 days notice 25% of the total booking cost will be refunded to the client.
If the booking is cancelled 30 days or less no refund of the total booking cost will be made.
Therefore no refunds shall be made to clients who make bookings less than 30 days prior to the booking date.
No refunds shall be given to clients who arrive early, late or do not show for a booking. At this point we recommend that clients insure against loss of deposit and cancellation fees that may be levied by our contracting suppliers or ourselves. All bank charges incurred with refunds are for the clients account.
